We are delighted to announce the resounding success of our recent Fiesta Party, held at The Lyric on Saturday, September 23.
Our Fiesta Party was designed to be a lively celebration of community and unity, bringing together people from all walks of life to support the nobel cause of helping all families in Northern Colorado to thrive. The Lyric, a favorite local venue known for fostering connections within the community, provided the perfect setting for this vibrant gathering.
Guests at the event were treated to festive live music provided by local talent, Salsa Forte. They got the crowd on their feet, in between stops at the nacho and margarita bars.
The highlight of the entire evening, however, was the remarkable fundraising achievement. The Family Center, in collaboration with the generous support of the community, surpassed its fundraising goal, raising a staggering total of over $40,000, through the highly successful silent auction, live auction, and paddle raise. Guests bid on fun and entertaining packages of donated local art, brews, wines, and amazing trips. One of the most popular auction items was a special evening at Casa Bonita, the recently reopened Colorado gem that is currently boasting a waitlist of over 100,000 people!
The significant accomplishment of raising over $40,000 underscores the dedication and commitment of all those involved, from the event organizers to the compassionate donors who opened their hearts and wallets to support The Family Center’s crucial work.
The impact of this event extends far beyond the fundraising success. It also served to raise awareness of The Family Center’s vital mission and the role it plays in our larger community. Through events like the Fiesta Party, The Family Center is not only raising important funding for programs, but it is also expanding its presence and outreach.
