Cyndi Dodds

Cyndi Dodds

President

Cyndi has a great passion for behavioral health services. She is the Chief Clinical Officer at SummitStone Health Partners and previously served as the Executive Director for the Namaqua Center in Loveland. Her work has included more than two decades with behavioral health organizations in Northern Colorado. Cyndi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Alliant University in San Diego and a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. Cyndi serves on Northern Colorado Collaborative for Addiction Recovery Support (NOCO CAReS) Steering Committee, the Larimer County Interagency Oversight Group, Colorado Behavior Healthcare Council Health Care Operations Committee and Colorado State University School of Social Work Advisory Board. Cyndi is honored to support La Familia’s vision of creating a community in which all families are safe, supported, and thriving.  

Bill Kaufman

Bill Kaufman

Vice President

Bill is a retired attorney who practiced law in Loveland, CO for 43 years.  Since moving to Colorado in 1976 he has served on the boards of many non-profit organizations including the Longs Peak Council, BSA; McKee Medical Center Foundation; and Meals on Wheels of Loveland/Berthoud.  From 1992 – 2000, Bill served as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives representing House District 51 which included Loveland, Estes Park, and the area between those communities.  In his retirement, Bill likes to spend time with Mary, his wife, play golf, walk, travel and read, particularly history and current events.

Frankie Cole

Frankie Cole is the regional president of ANB Bank’s Northern Colorado Region which includes the Fort Collins, Loveland, and Boulder markets. Frankie brings over 17 years of experience in the financial services field and has worked in various positions at ANB. Before accepting her current role, she held the position of senior credit operations officer, and prior to that, community bank president of ANB’s Cherry Creek Banking Center. She also has her bachelor’s degree from Newman University and has completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado program. Frankie enjoys giving back to the community and is involved in several volunteer activities, including serving on the Foothills Gateway Foundation Board of Directors and as a Windsor Housing Authority Board Commissioner. She is passionate about organizations that serve the underserved, in particular with housing and other family needs.

Blake McBartlett

Expertise: Real Estate and Non-Profit Management

Blake is a Broker Associate / Partner at The Group Real Estate and is a member of MCM Collective. Blake earned his MBA from the University of Wyoming and most recently completed his MSW from the University of Denver. Prior to his real estate career, Blake worked in local county government, nonprofit leadership, and healthcare. In Blake’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family, serving on other nonprofit boards in Northern Colorado, and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Front Range Community College. Blake is passionate about the mission and values of La Familia / The Family Center and believes that the program provides endless opportunities to the families, and is extremely honored to be a part of such an amazing organization.

Vanessa Fewell

Vanessa Fewell

Expertise: Social work, community resources, program management

Vanessa Fewell, MSW is a parent of a child in the The Family Center/La Familia El Nidito program. Vanessa received her Master of Social Work degree from CSU in 2006 where she worked closely with families in the Poudre Valley Mobile Home Park teaching adults English as a Second Language and providing after school services for elementary aged students. Vanessa has designed and implemented social service programs across the spectrum – from individual and family services to policy development and advocacy. She currently works at the Larimer County Department of Human Services which administers public benefits to eligible households. Vanessa is passionate about social, racial, and economic justice and truly believes that the work of The Family Center/La Familia is vital to improving our community for all of its residents.

Emma Goulart

Expertise: Healthcare

Emma Goulart is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Northern Colorado and is currently finishing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (April 2021)! In her undergraduate studies, Emma majored in both Spanish and Family and Human Services in order to do Social Work in her home state of California. After graduation, she traveled in South America and during her travels she decided to return to the United States and pursue a career in medicine in order to support people with their health. While maintaining her acupuncture practice, Emma is excited to serve on the board for La familia as both an advocate and ally to the families seeking community and support. Emma is thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful organization.

Maria Naumburg

Maria Naumburg

Expertise: Nurse at Larimer County Nurse-Family Partnership

Maria Naumburg is a registered nurse in Northern Colorado. She was born in Costa Rica and moved to the United States with her parents and sisters when she was a young child. From a young age, Maria was passionate about healthcare. She earned her bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. Maria and her husband love to travel and learn about different cultures. They are looking forward to sharing that same passion with their children. She currently works for Larimer County Nurse-Family Partnership empowering first-time moms and their babies to transform their lives and create better futures for themselves and their children. Maria strongly believes in affordable high-quality childcare for our community and is passionate about the mission and values of The Family Center/La Familia. Maria is extremely proud to serve on a board that fully supports social, racial, and economic justice for the members of our community. 

Beth Jaeger

Beth Jaeger

Former Vice President

Expertise: Human Resources

Beth and her partner moved to Fort Collins from Washington, DC in 2018.  She immediately focused on identifying opportunities to contribute to the positive growth of her new community, and was fortunate to begin her volunteer work with The Family Center/La Familia in spring 2018 and has served as Vice President of the Board of Directors since January 2020.  Beth has a 40-year career working with non-profit health-related organizations in the Washington, DC area.  She retired in 2014 after nearly 25 years with Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States as Vice President of Human Resources and also served in a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles.  Beth enjoys walking, biking, playing golf and pickleball and exploring beautiful Colorado!
