Language Exchange

The Language Exchange is an opportunity for English and Spanish speaking folks to get together and practice the other language with native speakers. The exchange is led by a facilitator and the topics are directed by participant interest. This is typically only a summer program, but often times there are ongoing groups that meet off-site throughout the year. The current Language Exchange group is meeting every Tuesday 10-11am from June 12th – August 21st. To participate, please contact Julianna at or (970)-305-5320.

Citizenship Classes

The Poudre River Public Library offers free citizenship classes at The Family Center/La Familia in order to help people prepare to take and pass the citizenship exam. The classes are specific to those who are eligible to apply for citizenship. The series of 6 classes is taught in English and therefore is recommended for students with an English level of 4 or higher. The next series of classes are scheduled for every Tuesday, from 5:30-7pm, September 25th – October 30th. Space is limited.
