Our vision at TFC/LF is a community in which all families are safe, supported and thriving. The health and safety of the staff, children, and families is our top priority as we begin to implement plans for re-opening El Nidito and providing other services virtually and by appointment, as necessary.
We are happy to announce that the gradual and systematic reopening of El Nidito will begin on June 1, 2020. We will reopen 3 classrooms with a maximum of 22 current children in the Center for care Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Future decisions to gradually increase our capacity will be based on updates to the health and safety recommendations at the state and local level.
Administrative, Family Support Services and Mi Voz teams will continue to mainly work remotely, meeting with families using online tools, the telephone and making appointments as needed for in person meetings using public health order guidance (masks, distancing, one person per family at a time, etc.) The main phone line will also be a resource for community needs such as rent and utility assistance and other critical services.
Thank you ALL for your incredible support and patience as we have navigated this challenging time and situation. Keep following us here for updates on happenings here at TFC/LF!
